HRC is an equal opportunity organization that aims to involve people of all backgrounds in planning, managing and leading through capacity building. Outside the organization, HRC has conducted capacity building programs that involved Master's students from Tribhuvan University and professional researchers. Some international volunteers, including Professors, Research Fellows and Masters/PhD students have been involved in the HRC activities. The trained people are engaged in its research methodologies, financial management, participatory M&E, result-based management, and reporting. HRC also hires professionals depending on the needs of the project. Primarily, internal resource persons are mobilized in order to make projects and initiatives cost effective.
