Ram Raj Rijal has obtained a Masters Degree in Ecological Anthropology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal in 1998. He started his career in Non-government Office of Nepal as a Development Research Consultant. He has accomplished numbers of research on Ecology, Anthropology, Environment and Poverty related issues in Nepal and aboard. He has worked a decade long as a Scoio- ecologist in the Society for Ecological Restoration Nepal (SER Nepal). SER Nepal is dedicated to promote the ecological balance and bringing the damaged recover of ecosystems in Nepal involving by different aspects of ecological restoration. It has mobilized its first official campaign as a Million Trees Plantation campaign in Kathmandu, Nepal. Five years experience in the hydro-power project as a social consultant. Ten years experience in the trekking and tourism development industry of Nepal. The Himalayan Research Expedition is a sole scientific research expedition in Nepal who have very tremendous experiences in the mountain research and project implementation in Nepal like Everest drilling and Imja lake lowering project in the high mountain of Nepal.
